During a visit to the school, photographs were taken of the buildings and surrounding neighborhood. They were given a duotone, risograph-like filter and featured in some of the logo applications as well as posters and graphics.

After Woodbury University, an esteemed architecture school, decided to consolidate its campuses and merge their San Diego location with one in Burbank, faculty and the surrounding community rallied behind the creation of a new institute, the Center for Collaborative Design. The founding members of CCD are passionate about accessible design education, social, and environmental justice and above all else creating a more equitable and connected future where architecture is a community-centered practice.
The brief was to create a new logo, brand guidelines, and a few brand assets such as merchandise and print collateral. All work was done while interning with the incredible team at Raygun.

During a visit to the school, photographs were taken of the buildings and surrounding neighborhood. They were given a duotone, risograph-like filter and featured in some of the logo applications as well as posters and graphics.
The logomark’s blend of hard and soft lines reflects the school’s bold, experimental approach to architectural education. Its form hints at a building or shared space, while the central negative space acts as a window or door—an open invitation for the community to engage with architecture in a fresh, radical way.
